Does my SMSF need a fresh independent property valuation every year?
SMSFs generally report assets at market value each year, but a new independent professional report is not automatically required for every property every year. Trustees need appropriate, objective market-value evidence; your accountant and auditor can advise on your fund’s specific evidence requirements.
Can I request a retrospective valuation?
Yes, historical valuation dates can be considered. Please provide the date the property needs to be valued as at and any relevant background or records available.
Do I need to upload documents when booking?
You can start with the property address, type and intended purpose. Any available title, lease or previous valuation documents may help, but you can ask our team what is relevant before providing additional material.
When is my booking confirmed?
